About us
Run by proprietor Dennis Gaymes, Gaymes Book Centre has supplied students across St. Vincent and the Grenadines for more than two decades - from a child's first reader to the textbook that earns a CXC pass. We carry every level, Pre-K to Tertiary, alongside the novels and stories people read for the love of it.
Mr. Gaymes is also one of the country's steadiest voices for reading. He has worked with the National Public Library and Macmillan on a "library on the move" caravan to revive rural libraries, and helped stage Family Literacy Month - because a library, he believes, should serve the whole community, not just the classroom.
